Little Yunnan - Victoria

Truly authentic! The owner and his family are the ones cooking and managing this restaurant. His daughter is one of the hosts in the dining area, and her father even cures his own Yunnan ham! This place is the real deal! You get to add all your own ingredients to the boiling broth and cook them to your preference. Feel free to spice up your soup with the soy sauce, black vinegar, and hot pepper sauce available on the table. Let's support this wonderful family-run restaurant in Chinatown!

We tried Yunnan noodles for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! The broth was incredibly flavorful, served piping hot, and paired perfectly with the delightful toppings and slippery rice noodles. We also sampled a few side dishes, all of which were delicious and clearly prepared with attention to detail. The pig ears, in particular, were the cleanest cut and best presented I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. It was all so comforting and satisfying. Thank you for the wonderful meal and experience!

I really love Little Yunnan! We first came across Crossing The Bridge Noodle soup during our travels in China, and we’re thrilled to have found a location here. It’s perfect for cold, rainy days! Our favorite is the A1 Traditional. We also enjoy the little side dishes, especially the pickled veggies and dry cured beef. The dumplings are a great choice too. Everything is just absolutely delicious!

ONE OF THE BEST NOODLES I’VE HAD IN MY LIFE! Not only it was a great experience of serving ourselves the noodle mix, the taste is incredible. The waitress is also very nice, very fast service. Their pork ribs is also a must try, and their pork belly is also good. Definitely coming back when visiting victoria its chinatown.

Food was great! Wonton needs a bit more favour. Soup was very hot for cross bridge noodle but after adding the ingredients, it becomes warm. Overall, it is very good!
