Glo Restaurant & Lounge - Victoria

The restaurant is located on the Gorge waterway and has great views. The atmosphere in cosmopolitan and the staff are friendly. I especially like the happy and breezy hosts. They are welcoming and genuinely friendly.The restaurant is comfortable and the food is reliable. The beef carpaccio and the chicken wings are recommended. The caesar salad is light and refreshing.The price is appropriate to the location and quality of food. I recommend good tips because these staff really work hard to present a welcoming and pleasurable experience. The location, especially on the patio, is perfect for people watching.

Food is good ... Not great but the patio and drinks makes for a good experience. Got the crispy ginger beef but it arrived soggy. Sent it back and got a crispy one. They took 25% off the price of the ginger beef and gave two certificates for free appy or dessert on the next visit.

En god oplevelse at besøge Glo Restaurant. Vi delte 2 forretter hhv. Glo Bread og Calamari og begge dele smagte rigtig dejligt. Til hovedret en Glo chophouse Steak som var fint tilberedt - medium - som bestilt.Modtagelsen på restauranten var god. Vi havde ikke bestilt bord, men ventede kun kort tid, før der var et bord til os, skønt der var mange gæster. Betjeningen var god og opmærksom og der var generelt en god stemning.Eneste lille gene var, at der var lidt for meget støj, dels fra de andre gæster, dels fra musikken.

Smukt beliggende ved vandet. Flotte forretter: Glo bread og calamaris, vi deltes om dem - rigeligt! Derefter Glo chophouse steak - fin og en blackened red snapper til mig. Der var for meget peber på. Meget opmærksom tjener og hurtig servering. Der er p-pladser i nærheden ( en privat parkeringsplads m bestemte pladser til gæster - 2,5$ pr time.

This is my absolute favourite place to go. I am local and this spot has replaced any other restaurants I used to love. Their gluten free menu is like Christmas Day for me. I usually go places and I am lucky if there are more than two options. This place has dozens and even always has a dessert for me. Their food is absolutely outstanding. I pride myself on cooking and I am more than happy to pay for the food at Glo. Some of my favourites include the west coast tacos, the tan tan city salad, the hunter chicken or the red snapper dish. I have yet to try a gluten free pizza, but have heard they are also excellent. I have never ordered something at Glo that wasn't amazing. The service is excellent in my opinion. Our favourite servers are Amanda and Marina. They are both very lovely ladies and extremely genuine and friendly. The atmosphere is excellent and I like the DJ there on the weekends. The patio is one of the best in the city. Yes, there are wait times but any good place there is. They are good about reservations and overall we just love it here. I highly recommend this place!
