I buy some of my ingredients here because they have good nude varieties and many hard to find sauces. they have also roasted nori (10 sheet) for under $3, which is a record low in victoria.
Fujiya is my way to Sushi Square because it's closer to my house than other sushi restaurants. The parking lot is a bit difficult, but I really like their Oldashi Tofu so I always come back. The coating on the tofu is not. The fog soup contains fish. Some of my favorite vegan options: Agedashi tofu, edamame (although it cooled and I prefer warmed), vegetables gyoza, avocado and mango roll (seasonal only in summer), and inari. There is also a vegetable bonnet for lunch, which contains seaweed salad, vegetable rolls and Alterashi tofu. There are a variety of vegetable rolls including a mixed vegetables (potato, cucumber, avocado) and cucumber maki. I buy some of my ingredients here because they have some good noodle varieties and many hard to find sauces. They also roasted nori (10 sheets) for under $3, which is a record low in Victoria.
Decent if you want a quick snack/soup. However feels like it has gone down in the quality and tastiness of the food over the last few years. (2017)
Love to eat Fujiya's all food! I go to Fujiya 3-4times a week. :) Agetashi Tofu, Spicy Chicken bowl, Cowboy roll, California roll, Vegie rolls, Tuna&Samon roll, Negitoro bowl!!!! All of them are very tasty!! Because many Victorians love this place, that is always busy!! :)
This is an excellent place to come for very inexpensive sushi and many other ready to eat items. Their salads are also very good, and they have a Hawaiian Poke salad! Please open a location up in Langford so we don't have to drive so far!
