Aura Waterfront Patio - Victoria

This was an incredible dining experience hosted by professional, gracious servers and prepared by awesome chefs. Every entree was well presented and very delicious. The inner harbour view was beautiful addition.

Our first time at the Aura Restaurant but not our last. Our waiter was with us shortly after we were seated and considering how busy he was, he gave us good service. The food was excellent and the price was more than reasonable.

Food was very well cooked and kitchen clearly work efficiently. Enjoyed the sharing style series of plates. Both main (Lamb and Beef Shin), which we shared, were very tender. Great atmosphere with a water view.

Unfortunately, the fish dishes we ordered were bland and uninspiring. From what I remember before, each dish last year had a unique quality to them and satisfied the palet. For the huge amount of money spent on 3 tiny dishes, we were very disappointed. The fish seemed to be reheated, the soup bland, and the broccolini burnt and chewy. Sorry, maybe your chefs have changed.

Terrific discovery! Amazing food, especially liked Charred Octopus served with chickpea, rouille, and chimichurri. Includes crispy capocollo so very rarely added in Italian dishes. And great view.
