Ambrosia - Victoria

Run by a charming husband and wife team, this is a tiny deli in Oak Bay Village with a surprisingly large selection of deli items and fresh local fruit at very reasonable prices. Their homemade hummous is terrific, as is the Persian flatbread.

My daughter and I popped in here for a Gelato the other day. They were just about to close but the gracious owner welcomed us in and served up an extra large scoop of ice-creamy goodness for my daughter, much to her delight!

This is a grocery store that also has a nice selection of takeout food here but it's all very expensive and very cute. It's not fair to compare this place with restaurants.

We came across this nice little deli located just around the corner off the main street. It offers a nice selection of dry goods from Europe plus some tasty lunch specials. During the good weather tables are setup outside. Worth a look & see!

They offer top-quality products and their staff/owners are fantastic and enjoyable to interact with. I've heard that they are opening a new location, possibly replacing the former Willows Park Grocery store at Dalhousie and Eastdowne. Congratulations to them!
