Brasserie De L’Opera - Vichy

I great experience in VICHY. The restaurant serves an excelent food . The ambiance is well decorated. Me, my husband and our daughter loved it. The risoto is a good meal to ask. Enjoy !

When you like the French cuisine, I do, this is a pleasant and quality food place to visit. Very friendly and efficient staff, a good 3-course menu for €22. Wine per glass or bottle.

The food might be ok but we never learned to try. After the completely despising and ignorant reception by the hostess we decided to leave the venue, not settling for her approach. Although some people blame this to the French behavior, our French is more than up to par, and we are regular out-eaters, I have never received this ignorant type of service in France. A place next door gave us a wonderful welcome and a nice enjoyable evening.

I had wanted a hefty helping of Moules Frites, but the place offering them was closed on Saturday night. As I walked pass the Brasserie De L'Opera someone waived at me from indoors; someone tunred out to be a colleague with whom I had not had much chance to speak with during the conference. He had finished his meal already, but was gracious enough to keep me company. His recommendation of the smoked slamon was taken, together with a carafe of white, and an ice-cream dessert. Correct, agreeable, and excellent price/quality ratio

Vichy was a place highly recommend to me and I found this restaurant on my travels. I had the best steak and Bordeaux wine I think I ever tasted...Do Not Miss This Place if you visit Vichy...
