Friendly welcoming atmosphere and a beautiful village pub. we had fish and chips and enjoyed it very much. so much that we go back to Sunday dinner. highly recommended.

We were in front of a place in a hotel full of dinner. what turned out to be a good luck for us. a beautiful walk to and from and a really good fish cake with very friendly service. Thank you.

Proper village pub. Decent ales served by decent people.

This is what a pub should be: cozy, welcoming, and intimate. The bartender is a really friendly guy. The food is as good as you would find in any restaurant. It was quite empty when we arrived in the early evening, but it quickly filled up with locals. It's a real gem; places like this still exist!

This is a straightforward pub with excellent service and delicious pub food. There are two wood burners that add to the cozy atmosphere. What more could you want? Walter thought it was fantastic as well, as he was treated like royalty!
