Gilbert's Grill Co. - Versailles

I have only had one issue with this restaurant, and that is that I did not enjoy the seasonings in their smoked sausage. It was not cooked poorly, I just did not care for it. However, I have found that most BBQ places around the lake taste very similar, and the quality is defined by texture and moisture, both of which Gilbert's has never disappointed me in. Sometimes tables are not cleaned immediately when the restaurant is busy, but the staff is quick to attend to it once customers are settled. The staff is always friendly and on point. This restaurant is a fantastic option no matter the time of day, as long as it is between open and close. I highly recommend eating here, as the food is delicious.

Gilbert's is without a doubt the top steakhouse at the Lake of the Ozarks! The food is fantastic and the service is exceptional. My family and I adore this restaurant!
