Castle Farm At The Kentucky Castle

It was the perfect place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! The staff made us feel as if we were the only individuals in the establishment. We have plans to go back in the warmer months.

The food options were limited. We went for lunch/breakfast. The food was cold when it reached out table. We did not get drinks until after we consumed our starters. No refills on drinks very limited service the person taking care of us was away from our tablet 20 mins at a time. Other staff delivered our meals. The chairs were all stained and one of the chairs was wet and soaked one of my guests. We had heard so much about the place and waited for a special event to visit it was a very disappointing experience. Will not return.

The Castle was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The only negative we found was that all our food was not warm enough. We should have sent it back, but we didn't.

Enjoyed drinks at the beautiful bar room: loved the Derby pie old fashioned and Apple cider martini. Aydin not only prepared amazing cocktails , he was truly a joy and a gentleman ! Dinner was delicious and we had outstanding service from Mauro! The Salmon and chicken were delicious! It must be popular as they ran out as the evening progressed. Mauro provided excellent recommendations, was so polite and also such a gentleman and treated us like family. The entire staff were truly wonderful from the hostess as we walked in , to the staff who made sure we were wel taken care of before we left. Truly a wonderful evening and dining experience!

First time dining at Castle Farm. They were struggling a bit. We were there for 2.5 hrs. Staff was super-friendly but slow. I ordered the pork belly and it was rough. Normally I don't send food back, but $40 for the entree, I had to. It was dry and very tough. But, to the staff's credit, they were very accommodating. We were also hearing other conversations from tables around us about the slow service and sending a couple dishes back. Again, very friendly staff and a cool building, but for the price, I wouldn't recommend. But maybe they were just having a bad night.
