I was very disappointed after this experience : Room service= 0, because waiters are not responsible and are slow to serve food. Food quality=

I ordered a chicken soup and a portion of white rice. Apparently it was not possible to have white rice alone so I was obliged to put on meat and other, I asked that at least it was not spicy. I waited almost an hour to get my order. I paid 10 euros (5 for soup and 5 for rice impregnated with things I didn't want) but then they asked me 10 more because instead of a soup they gave me 3, without I had absolutely asked. After such a long wait I didn't want to know so I paid 10 euros for something I didn't ask, took the order and left. Arrived at home I open the soup that unfortunately is not the chicken soup that I expected, but a kind of past of vegetables that I in pain I threw away after the first spoon for taste and consistency. I removed all the meat not required from rice and ate only a little rice that was completely spicy having been in contact with the always unsolicited seasonings. The next morning I had stomach pains that turned into a painful diarrhea duration for hours. If this was the reaction with the wet rice of condiments I dare not imagine if I had eaten the rest. I've been so sick just once again in my life and I was in zanzibar. I strongly recommend anyone to try this restaurant.

I went with a friend, great food and very kind staff. Cheese kottu recommended, taste delicious! The prices are very honest and allow you to taste various things. Lion Beer available both blonde and red. With 3 beers we spent 40€ in 2, but we ordered too much food and failing to finish it kindly prepared us in a box to take home. Local spartano, but traditional tasty food and abundant portions. For those who want to try something different.

I had dinner at Chef Lanka with friends and it was a very fun evening. The really good food, specialty of Sri Lanka, cooked well, light and tasty.... we tasted a bit of everything, from appetizers to various types of curry. So for the kitchen and for the service, fast and very courteous, the score would be from 5 balls.... but the place is rather sad, confusing and disordered. I can understand that this is a simple place, but order and organization must never miss where you want to eat. I think this review can serve the owners to review some things of their local, but the kitchen is really great.
