The Roast Pork Lo Mein was dry and sticky, lacking much flavor, and the pork was not cooked in the traditional roasted style. The fried rice was bland, and the Shumai were completely dried out. On a positive note, the General Tso's Chicken was tender and flavorful, though it was overwhelmed by too much sauce. The prices are quite high—definitely NYC prices! If you're from a major city and are accustomed to great Chinese food, this place might not meet your expectations. Overall, this is probably more suited to mall quality dining. I suspect that the positive reviews come from people who haven't had much exposure to good Chinese cuisine.
A well established Chinese restaurant with some long term employees. The hot and sour soup has a woody vinegar taste with not to much tofu making this one of the current better soups in town. The Hunan and vegetable dishes are good and even served with lamb if desired. The young Caucasian waitress's need a little training on table service but over all not a bad restaurant.
We enjoyed the fried wontons, twice-cooked pork, and hot and sour soup. The wontons were well-seasoned and fried to perfection. It's fantastic to find a Szechuan restaurant that slices their pork rather than serving it in unappealing, shredded pieces. The soup had a rich, beefy broth with just the right amount of vegetables. We’ll definitely be returning!
Szechuan Palace in Vero Beach, FL, offers the best Chinese food in town. Without a doubt, it's my favorite restaurant. I can't get enough of their sweet and sour chicken. And those Szechuan-style green beans? Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my phone. They may cost $11, but you get a massive portion, and trust me, they're worth every penny. My father once tried to figure out the secret to their recipe and asked how hot they get the wok. Despite his efforts, he could never replicate those perfectly tender green beans. The owner/manager explained, "You need to get the wok hot enough to burn the hair off your forearms; then it’s ready." I've definitely taken note of that!
The Szechuan palace in my opinion has some of the best Chinese food.I liked almost everything on the menu. The Chinese woman was very friendly and the waiters were nice to. The restaurant was very clean and maintained it had a really nice Chinese culture environment to it.I like it I would definitely recommend this restaurant.???
