Restaurants La Taberna - Vero Beach

The food is okay, the chicken seems watery sometimes. The biggest concern for this restaurant is the pricing. I order two chicken burritos with rice and beans at least once every two weeks. The last three times I have ordered the price has changed, $25 then $27 and now I was charged $29 for the last visit. I asked why the price keeps increasing and the girl states that the prices change all the time. However, the menus in the restaurant show the old pricing still. The menu states chicken burritos are $10.99. I ask why the restaurant doesn’t update the pricing for the customers and she walked away. I don’t think I will be going back. I can get better food with chips and salsa included at El Tapitios or Ay Jalisco for less money.

Waited over an hour for a to go order in an empty restaurant. I ordered 1 entree. Not a big deal. Waitstaff was very nasty- now im getting annoyed. Food was wrong the waitress wouldn't fix it- now im upset. They over charged my card for the food and then the waitress changed the tip amount on the receipt- grossed out. Food was basic tex mex not even authentic- the actual reason im never going back. Really disappointing. There are alot of Latin restaurants in Vero, go enjoy yourself there.

This place will surprise you! Great customer service and food is great. I was so happy they have menudo, as you can’t find Mexican restaurants that sell it. Tortillas from scratch and Tacos are delicious.

The food wasn't bad but not what was advertised. The flan was very plain and slightly bitter which isn't unusual, but the menu showed whipped cream, cherries and chocolate syrup but had absolutely none on the flan. The front door also showed a picture with the same toppings. 3 taco's are $5.99 but if you get the plate with rice and beans it doubles. Avoid the rice but the beans were good . The restaurant wasn't bad but it will be awhile before I come back!
