Toro's Neighbourhood Pub - Vernon

A Friday evening dinner with a friend. We ordered the Cheeseburgers on a recommendation from others. We were not disappointed. Home made burger pattie made this burger awesome. Toasted bun, fresh lettuce and Tomatoes, makes this even better. The fries were crisp , hot and just perfect. Prices were reasonable. Portion was generous, I could not finish everything. Service well that was a bit disappointing. Our server brought menus shortly after we sat down but sort of tossed then on the table and walked away to a table of what appeared to be her friends. She did return to take our drink order and food order. I will say that the drinks and food arrived quickly. I would go back!

Use to go there 1-2 times a week; only one person serving and pouring; too long of a wait draft beer was flat not happy;; cheese burger use to be homemade now just another crappy burger ;; the town drunks seem to be there and got tired of the BS so quit going there Thursday nite karaoke is just awefull some nutball running around putting out stuffed animals waitress are awesome though

Walked in on a sunny nice afternoon to this neighborhood pub.After a brief conversation with the chef about the burgers...(being a chef myself) I decided to try the bacon cheeseburger with yam fries and chipotle mayo. I was shocked at the delicious taste of this fresh in house made burger with just the right amount of heat on the chipotle mayo! Everything was to perfect temp!!!Cudos my friend!!I will be back! Unfortunately every restaurant I have asked in this town if their burgers are made in house all I have received is processed frozen patties.

As with any time i've ever visited Toro's i have always enjoyed the food, they do a pretty half decent job at everything and like any pub the burgers are good...they do a pretty good daily special too so that might be worth checking out! The one thing i hate about Toro's that keeps me from going there is that it has zero ambience and charm as a pub/building...it's basically just a long warehouse building with seating...but if you're in the neigborhood and looking for something and you don't care about that cause you're with your whole ball team or football team then this place will suite you just fine!

Got together here for a visit with my wife and three daughters. The server was entertaining and efficient, but unobtrusive. Lunch was good, fresh and tasty. The special was inexpensive and substantial.
