The Kal - Vernon

We had heard great things about the food at Kal's, so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. We arrived during lunchtime and the restaurant was busy. The dishes being enjoyed at other tables looked delicious. Our server was friendly, attentive, and efficient. We opted to try the pizza, as we had yet to find a good one in Vernon. We chose the house special without beef, and it was amazing. The large pizza was huge, perfect for two people, and reasonably priced. Each slice was loaded with toppings and cheese, so we could only manage two pieces each. It was the best pizza we have had in Vernon so far. Kal also offers take-out, so we will definitely be ordering from there again. They have recently added a family section and a kids menu. Kal is a popular downtown pub for good reason - great atmosphere, friendly staff, top-notch chef, tasty food, and reasonable prices. Give it a shot!

I recently visited The Kal for the first time in a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised, considering their past closures. We went for dinner and tried their underrated nachos and pizza. My girlfriend and I shared a small pizza and regular nachos after a day at the beach, which were satisfying and more than enough for two hungry people. The Kal's kitchen as a whole is underrated, with hand sanitizer and QR codes for the menu on each table. Our only suggestion would be to include prices for everything and non-alcoholic drinks on the menu. This bar is a popular spot for young adults in Vernon, offering activities like darts, UFC, and deer games. The only downside is when they have live bands, making it difficult to have conversations inside due to the small venue. Overall, The Kal is an excellent sports bar in Vernon with friendly staff, who even allowed us to move tables on the patio.

Affordable and delicious. The restaurant offers a wide variety of draft beers, including tasty IPAs and Sours. The service is excellent, with friendly and efficient staff even during busy times. The food is also quite good. Overall, there is nothing negative to mention about this establishment.

This pub is the best in town with fresh and delicious food. They offer a selection of 99 wing sauces that you have to try to believe! The nachos with real Mexican guacamole are one of my favorite appetizers - a must-try. The service is warm and friendly, making you feel right at home.

Amazing wings, fantastic drinks. Other food has been underwhelming thus far. Steak sandwich was bland and boring. Pizzas are outrageously priced at $24 for a 10cm up to $29 for a 14cm. In short? Go for the wings and beer, pass on the rest.
