The Arcadian Kitchen - Vernon

Cute place with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. The staff were helpful and peppy. Not every vegan option comes with protein automatically included, so you kinda have to look out for that. They had coconut la croix which made me happy!

Highly recommend this place for vegan and vegetarian options! My friends and I were visiting Vernon and looking for a vegetarian friendly option. We happened to find Arcadian Kitchen and their amazing $3 Friday taco deal. We spent almost 20 minutes trying to find the perfect combination of all the toppings and protein. I had the avocado cream with falafel and jackfruit, as well as a chipotle and salsa and chipotle and slaw taco with falafel. Every taco was perfect! The falafel was so crispy and delicious, and every topping was great, with the avocado cream being my favourite. The part that stood out to me however was how vegan and vegetarian aware and conscious they were. As I ordered the vegetarian options, the cashier must have noticed as my friends ordered a mix of veggie and meat tacos. The cashier made an effort to come out of the restaurant to confirm I was vegetarian and not vegan, as some of the tacos had cheese and dairy products. I found this to be incredibly enlightening and thoughtful, as it shows just how careful they are. I will be making this drive out again from Kelowna just to visit the Arcadian Kitchen, and recommend everyone who is living or passing by Vernon to check it out as well!
