Kalâ€s Naan Stop - Vernon

I tried the Pakoras and Samosas, and I have to say the Samosas are the best I've ever had. If you're in the mood for some Indian cuisine, don't hesitate to order from Kal's Naan Stop. The food is incredible, and the service was very friendly. I definitely plan to return!

I ordered takeout from this restaurant using an app. Unfortunately, the naan bread was the driest I've ever had from a restaurant; it was just like the naan you find in grocery store packages. On the bright side, it's the only Indian restaurant I know of in town that serves pizza. I decided to give their 10-inch vegetarian pizza a try for $16, and to my surprise, it tasted quite good! When comparing it to other places like The Curry Pot, Saffron Touch, Haveli, and Namaste, I would have to rank it at the bottom for flavor but third in terms of price. If I decide to order from here again, I would definitely stick to the pizza. With the pizza earning 5 stars and the naan just 1 star, I settle on a solid 3-star rating overall!

Don’t be misled by the glowing reviews; they seem carefully curated and are quite deceptive. Their approach to Indian cuisine is terrible and doesn’t even meet amateur restaurant standards, if that. And to make matters worse, they attempt to incorporate Chinese dishes? At least excel in one cuisine before branching out to another. The food lacked proper seasoning, and some items were served ice cold. I recommend choosing a different restaurant.

Incredible gluten-free experience! The food was exceptionally fresh and crispy, and the spice level was just right. It was one of the best birthday dinners I've ever had! The kids enjoyed themselves too and finished three full plates! Everything was absolutely delicious!

The food here is delicious and the prices are fantastic! I often find myself eager to visit, even when they're not open.
