One lady is nice the other is rude... My wife also went in there one time to get a bagel and the guy was extremely rude not welcoming and no manners whatsoever. Also the Chocolate milk I bought was expired and spoiled. I didn't read the date and took a sip and then immediately spit it out as it was sour. It wasn't cheap either. Waste of money. I Think the manager should really reconsider her staff, the reviews of them being rude are true. They should also check their products expiration dates regularly.
Staff is extremely rude, (tried it twice thought maybe EVERYONE in there was having a bad day) sometimes I don’t care if the food is good, and the bagels are mediocre and everything in there is overpriced. The grill is a much better spot and food is a lot better!
I wouldn’t trust the overall rating listed here. Go with your gut, and when you see reviews on how rude their staff is, you better believe it. I have never been here before, my family just moved up here so I was visiting. I decided to call in an order for my family on the drive there and the guy taking the call was very rude. How he speaks to potential customers would be absolutely unacceptable at any establishment that values their reputation and success for the business. The only way I see this place succeeds is because of the limited choice within the area for the residents. I decided to go across the street and I do not regret it for one second. They were extremely hands on and busy with the fact that they only had 2 employees working, but when I eventually had my order taken they were very respectful and kind. Their food was amazing too. I think if the Greenwood Lakes Bagel shop worked/trained more on their customer service etiquette, they would retain more business compared to whatever their customer base is like now.
How does a bagel place not know how to toast their bagels?? When I say slightly toasted it's burned and this has happened every single time I've ordered something with a bagel from there. Last time I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant, the croissant was soaked in grease. Their subs have been good, just have been really disappointed in the quality of the other options. My brother stopped going there because they completely messed up his bacon-sausage-and cheese, the sausage was way over cooked, so was the bacon, and the cheese wasn't melted and his bagel was again, burnt. Like ya'll really finish making a sandwich like that and still have the audacity to serve it??
