Le Clos - Verneuil-sur-Avre

Dinner at Le Clos is a true dining pleasure. The owner, Eric Brial and his major domo, Bruno, offer a very personalized service. It's clear this is a regional favorite since we were the only non-French in the restaurant. The meal was exceptional and the...presentation very special. The food is all local and organic. The dining room is formal but very comfortable and looks out over the beautiful grounds of the Chateau. Mr. Brial (who speaks fluent English), the food and its presentation and careful preparation and his staff make this a real dining pleasure. Not to be missed!

On June 8, 2014 we were invited to lunch at Le Clos, which we would not have found by ourselves. The cuisine was first rate. I regretted not having brought my little camera so I could have posted on my blog. The ambience and service...were just right.

A lovely evening and a delicious romantic dinner. The food was beautifully presented with several items coming from their garden. Breakfast was again delicious, served in a garden room. A true delight!

The dinner was very rich and tasty. service was the best with very good advices and big smiles.the desserts were a wonder, and the wines too.
