Fantastic place. Definitely worth the trip out. Totally unique and well done. The beers are great. I loved the Munich Pale and the Rye IPA. The food is also super tasty. Deceptively simple and well executed. The Pickle and Pig delivered on the name and gave me exactly what I wanted. The staff are also fun and friendly. Everyone looks like they are happy to be there, and that says a lot about a place.

Just tried this place when I was back in my hometown. What a cool setup! A great way to picnic without any hassle! The surroundings are beautiful, the servers were very nice, and the food and beer were fantastic! The only downer is the porta potties, but there were very clean.

The staff are always great and friendly! The burger was outstanding tonite! Will def return...!

Stellar! First time visitor today and I enjoyed everything. The atmosphere, the beer, the food, and of course it being dog friendly was the icing on the cake. We will be back!

I am new to the Danville area and decent outing options are far and few within Danville. I came across Big Thorn Farm and Brewery online and took a short drive to check it out. Boy, am I glad I did. Everything about Big Thorn is on point. The couple who own and operate Big Thorn know exactly how to create a fun and inviting place to spend some down time. The craft beers are amazing and the food served from their food truck is elevated pub food. We are talking about very tasty rice bowls, sandwiches and amazing soups. They also have a Sunday brunch that is fantastic. That includes stuffed French toast options, breakfast tacos and an amazing breakfast sandwich that is out of this world. The setting is ideal. The year round greenhouse is the main brewery setting that is so much fun and offers plenty of seating. During the summer months they have two more outdoor seating areas that allow you to feel like you are enjoying the day at summer camp, with beer! All I can say, is YES!! Check out all Big Thorn offers and enjoy a little piece of heaven tucked away in Vermillion county. Last but not least the entire staff is so friendly and remember your face when you come back to visit them. A
