La Mirandola - Vermiglio

This hotel is amazing. I have marked it down as there are a couple of points that need improving. The reception was friendly and on the main the staff were assertive, helpful and pleasant. We arrived mid afternoon and our room was ready. The room was big enough but the décor was basic. In really cold wether I should imagine would get cold but the single radiator in the bathroom kept the main room tepid. The towels dried ok and we’re changed on request. Always plenty of hot water. The food was brilliant and plenty of it. Don’t always expect burgers and chips but I’m sure kids would find something suitable. The large family group we saw got stuck in. Wine and bar reasonably priced. Spar area was set up well restricted to 12 per hour except the tub wasn’t working as you would expect. Never crowded when we were there. Used every day. Good bus shuttle to lifts The only negatives would be Poor lighting. Particularly the corridors. Poor Wi fi connection

This hotel is isolated and 1.8 km from the centre of the village. A steep walk down and back up with no lighting. Probably fine in summer but not in winter. The shuttle bus only operates in the morning and afternoon.

5 star experience in a 3 star hotel! We were a family of 5, visiting for skiing week 4, 2023. The hotel is old, but well kept. What makes the hotel a 5 star experience is the staff, service and the food. We had half board, and every night a delicious 3 course menu was served. The waiters is very dedicated, speaks only italian, but is very present, smiling and polite. The rooms was ok, as expected for a 3 star hotel. Every day the rooms was cleaned nicely. Skiing was easy to access ski in/out outside the door, with a small uphill first. We felt like home during the entire stay, and we will return again for 2024 skiing! We recommend to stay here it is high value for the money!

Panoramic and strategic location for excursions and walks, not far from the lake valbiolo. free parking available. simple and spartan room, little care for details. plastic glasses in the bathroom and unfortunately also in the breakfast area. another painful note of the coffee machine.

Very nice place. the hotel has a special charm. Great dinner. very kind staff. above all expectations.
