Antica Trattoria San Giacomo - Vergiate

Trattoria that announces housewife, the staff is friendly and kind. there is enough choice before and second the card, in addition to the dishes of the day. However, they are not very elaborate dishes or traditional dishes, indeed too normal, they did not appear in dumplings or tortelli, meat, steti, brasati etc. the fried dumpling is good even if a slight type of puff and little paste, different from the usual in short. I reserve myself and hope to reevaluate better with special evenings or customized, with polente fried gnocco etc, more to tractor in short.

Place to the hand, simple but cozy. we came in group and opted for a fixed menu of 25€ where the appetizer was only 6 slices of mixed meat with 3 dumplings, and two mini portions of tagliatelle and lazzoccheri served in the same dish! (only two forks in short) I ask for cheese and reply “that already there is enough”?! they will be made mine with all respect, usually cheese is left at the table but with a certain hurry we had to return it (and we were the only table) . nothing to say about the quality of food but the unsatisfactory amount/price, usually the trattorias offer more for a price so . I don't think we will return. not recommended tiramisù.

Going to this trattoria is always a certainty. good pink your cassoula and polenta theme evening without forgetting the strudel was...that sublime to say. Congratulations to the girl who serves the tables.

Christmas dinner of 20 people... perfectly managed. ...staff friendly and attentive to every need....good food....good wine....we were really happy. thanks for the availability of pink and its girls
