Prices for everything in the food court (and some gifts too) are much cheaper that past security.I'm vegetarian and was very happy with quite a few options that were available. So tasty and try the hot sauces. VEGAN options available. If you have time and don't mind passing through security again, go have a walk outside. Get a cheap beer at 7-11 and sit down with a nice, cheap Mexican meal. Ask them for the wifi password (PS -Starbucks no longer has wifi. I asked early FEB 2017)
This little "hole in the wall" restaurant is landside at Terminal 2 of Mexico City's Benito Juarez International Airport, in the food court area.I was glad to come upon this place, having been famished after the small meals they give you on Aeromexico flights! The girl at the counter spoke pretty good English and even though the food was basically take-away food, it was still tasty. I enjoyed the shredded pork tacos I had, though I didn't so much enjoy the complimentary drink they gave me out of the drink dispenser.I paid with my credit card and after conversion, the prices worked out cheaper than I expected. They have a fair few menu options and I also spoke to an airport staff member who recommended this place and was also buying some food there. Thanks for the yummy and REAL Mexican food, not like what I get at Mexican restaurants back home!
