The rooms are extremely small, probably not all, the one we stayed in! They were renovating the ramps and we had to lift the little girl's stroller over the steps! Couldn't they renovate in the winter? Practically all inclusive means 3 self-service meals! And drinks at the self-service bar in small plastic glasses, the size of the glasses is that of the water dispensers, you're dying of thirst, you have to make 10 trips! The selection of drinks is limited, only wine, beer, juice and water, (for those who drink hard, it is offered only during meal times, I don't drink), no cocktails or what other drinks you would dream of at an all inclusive! The hotel is also far from the beach. The price is 850 lei per night! We went on a 2-day getaway, we don't recommend it! By the way, give it a like so that others can see it and not be buried among the hundreds of positive reviews!
Small parking for the number of tourists staying (if you're lucky you can find one), accommodation: in a clean room, the furniture is ok, the room is small, the swimming pools are ok, too few sunbeds for the number of tourists staying, if at 7 in the morning you haven't reserved a sunbed either you can find more, the beach is far away and it's not worth it, the menus and dishes are repeated every day, the soup is a little tasteless, the sweets can be seen from the plane as being cheap, identical every day! A diversification would have been ok! The price in relation to the quality of services is not justified!
Second year at Mera, nice and pleasant for us. Last year I went with my 6 year old boy, this year I also had a 3 month old baby, so a baby cot, which limited the space in the hotel room a lot (but we knew what to expect from last year). Cleanliness, very ok staff, we also liked the taste and diversity of the food, and the superb, clean and warm swimming pools. The foreign staff very polite, hardworking and appreciable that many of them knew enough Romanian to understand each other, as much as needed. As constructive feedback, I would suggest the following: change back the wristbands, this year 's ones scratch and are made of a very uncomfortable plastic... they are not right as a suggestion, maybe introduce a pram rental service for the little ones the mattresses on the sunbeds on the beach should be washed more often (the boys who come and clean them of sand in the morning should be appreciated) at the bar on the beach I also noticed people with bracelets from other hotels enjoying the services of the Mera bar on the penultimate day, toilet paper was not brought to the toilet in the room for cleaning someone said about the air conditioning, that 's right, you can 't sleep with it on, especially with a baby, and it was terribly hot in the room the women 's toilet in the Sky area smelled terrible, there was no toilet paper and the light did not work properly, maybe it was fixed in the last few days. I think these toilets in the halls are too small for the number of people using them, maybe a solution to expand them can be found in the future. We felt good, in the end not everyone will be satisfied and not everything is perfect. Many aspects also belong to the customers, for example the way to use the public toilets, the mess they leave behind at the restaurant or the eternal towel on the deckchair from 7 in the morning until lunch when they think of appearing (and here the staff also gets involved reallocate the reserved sunbeds, but in the end it 's about the customers ' common sense).
We were 2 adults and 1 1-year-old child, I asked for a cot, after which I gave up because you actually don't have room in the room, especially with luggage, for the bathroom, I'm not even saying, if you're a little chubby, settle for the bathroom in great you don't have room. 4 stars in Romania would mean 1 star in Bulgaria. Price versus quality is not worth it. As pluses, the cleanliness yes, in the rooms as well as in the resort. I was a little lucky with the food because I was there during St. Mary's and it was a more diversified idea, instead a week ago I received feedback from someone else that the food was horrible. For 1500 lei night I say no, more profitable abroad.
Expensive for what it actually offers, poorly organized, kitsch unfortunately. Many events every evening, forgotten in the era of the 90s as if, an infernal noise that makes your brain dust, once you can 't eat in peace with your family, at any meal, at any time you need noise and animation but of that in excess . What more can I add. General quality. Unfortunately, there are 4 Romanian stars, so to speak, from the bars with low offers, to the beach which is better not to pass up on the offer, to the crowded parking lot. So far I have had no problems with food in the family and I hope I don 't have surprises like others, otherwise I will be very vocal. Speaking of All inclusive , this is unfortunately a joke (variety, quality). Go outside.. personally, it 's the last time I go out to this seaside with my family.
