Spencer Makenzie's - Ventura

I love the fish options, grilled or breaded. The grilled mixed vegetables is interesting. The Transmission Blonde Ale was a treat. Service was good. Parking can be a challenge, but it is so worth it. We purposely dine off schedule for the lesser crowds.

Love this place! Not a Ventura local but always come in here to grab burritos or tacos when I'm in town. They are busy all day every day, and that says a lot! Have to follow the crowd and check this place out if you haven't already.

Spicy shrimp burrito is awesome and actually has some real heat!

This place has the best world famous fish tacos and local micro breweries beers.

Stopped by for fish tacos, clam chowder and a michelada... fish tacos are big, they have good sauces, Brooklyn style means they mix sweet chili hot sauce with the Spencer's sauce, bread bowl was buttered and put on the griddle, clam chowder was flavorful rich not watery and the Michelada was big with a tajin rim... good times... I'd go again and try the business burrito...
