Mai's Cafe - Ventura

Pho special was amazing! Super flavorful, generous meat portion. Chicken katsu was perfect combo of moist meat and crispy on the outside.

This place is delicious. The pho was packed with flavor, full of veggies and noodles! Definitely recommend the Mai Sate pho so good. The lemon grass stir fry was okay just needed salt. The taro milk was out of this world and the prices are incredible for Ventura. Will definitely be coming back. Yum ? Dietary restrictions: So many veg options!

I've only had takeout from Mai's but I feel like that speaks even more to the quality of their food. And HOLY WOW is it good. The staff is always very friendly and the bar is pleasant to wait at while they pack up your order.But the food, oh man. I highly recommend the Cabbage Salad to accompany your soup, it's large so you can share it. Aside from the expected pho, I LOVE the Bún Bò Huê (Huê Style Noodles), soooo tasty; and Mai's Sate if you aren't feeling quite as fishy, haha.

Not traditional pho. Soup is sweet, some spring rolls have shrimp some do not, just random. Read menu in detail, as the first rice noodle soup has chick breast in it!
