The Crab Lobster - Ventnor

What an absolute pleasure it was in this beautiful decor! we were looking for a cozy pub meal that was family-friendly and that crab and lobster tap delivered safely! the owners were so beautiful and welcoming and eating was just delicious! we tried their fish, chips and mushy bases, the seafood pea with kartoffel mash on the top, the gammon ham, eggs, chips and exhorts and the children enjoyed chicken nuggets and chips. for our pudding we had sticky datum pudding with ice and rhabarb crumb with Custard....to eat an absolute joy! it is simple food really well made. a lot of love and amazing service makes this super special and we will definitely be once again a day!

Really nice experience in a quirky pub. central location, but beautifully remote. good selection of beer and other drinks as well as first-class customer service and product knowledge. will make sure I return next time in the city center

We enjoyed our visit here so much last year we returned this year. comfortable local pub for relaxing with a drink, playing cards or playing with family and enjoy a freshly prepared meal. quiz at night on Thursday, need booking, no eating this evening. would recommend booking in general to avoid disappointment. the staff were very friendly and very helpful catering for our son who has a milk allergy. fortunately, the special of the day 10oz steak) has to be milk-free, with the sohn was thrilled, as he had the vegans therefore df) options not already on the menu. the younger sohn was impressed by the generous child portion sinking, egg and chips he received, although he needed a little help to complete it. the fish cake was delicious, creamy and piping hot. hubby was equally very happy with his krab au gratin, which he unfortunately ate so greedy I did not get a chance to taste

Lovely little pub with a nice community feel, friendly people and nice location. I stayed in Ventnor for 5 days and lived one minute walk from this pub. Apparently they did roasts for 7.50 which is almost half the price of that found in the spyglass inn by the beach. They also hosted quiz nights and the pub extended quite a way through the back of the building...

You can't beat the Crab and Lobster for a good value Sunday roast! How they do it for this price amazes me, and just as good as any other pub I've been to.
