This past week, on a recommendation by a 'local ' living in Stellenbosch, we made our way out for an early dinner to this spot. Simply Greek, tucked away on Plein Street, pleasantly surprised us both in every way.. <br/ <br/ Quaint, comfortable, and cozy Greek-inspired interiors greeted us as we settled into our booth and selected a recommended bottle of red from their menu. <br/ <br/ From our friendly Zimbabwean waiter (all the way from KweKwe) to our well-priced, and delicious meals, we could not have been more delighted to find this hidden gem. <br/ <br/ Full review to follow but I could not resist sharing an image or two of what was a delightful meal..<br/ <br/ <br/ For more, find me on Instagram, Facebook Twitter: LaurasWorldza
My favourite restaurant in Stellies!!! The mezze is delicious and the shwarmas are full of tasty and fresh ingredients. Definitely worth a visit!
An authentic Greek experience! Tucked away in Stellenbosch but a treat when you come across it! This little restaurant has so much to offer. From the gorgeous interior which reminds me of a Greek tavern to the variety of tapas. The menu has something for everyone. The hostess is friendly and welcoming. The owners absolute gems. All kitchen staff have been thoroughly taught by the Greek family. <br/ <br/ My favorite items on the menu include: the fresh falafels, dolmadakia, spanakopita, shrimp saganaki, mousaka and chicken souvlaki. Though every time I come here there is something new to try which I fall in love with! <br/ <br/ All in all a fantastic restaurant which I urge everyone to try if you come to Stellenbosch!
Great food! Beers on tap, and a super selection of Greek meze. Plates of food for two or more to share. Grab a few pitas and a dip, and you have a fun meal to share. Makes for great take away too!
