December 2021 At Pompeii Restaurant (Ventersdorp Pompeii Restaurant we sat on the patio of an old house – lovely décor inside (furniture for sale as well . Hein chose eggs, bacon, chicken livers and toast (DELICIOUS!!!!! and I chose the cheese scone with biltong powder, jam, grated cheese and whipped cream. It was nice.

Lots of stuff on the menu, but not available. Biggest letdown is when you order a cappuccino and you receive a cup of instant cappuccino (which is charged at R29,00 . Not even the full sachet, but such a watered down version, that you ask yourself just how many cups they try to get out of one sachet (probably four. It's daylight robbery and they should feel ashamed. I sent it back and ordered a plain, black filter coffee instead, and had to pay for both. Food wasn't too bad had better.

Breakfast was well prepared. No other guests while we were there.

Lovely place with the nicest people. Love the place.

The food was Good, not great. Decently priced, service was a bit limited and slow. The Kids really loved it and enjoyed themselves thoroughly though!!
