Mesón La Cueva - Venta de Baños

This restaurant is located km from palencia, leaving for sale the bathrooms. is in a stone box, on foot of the road. On the ground floor is the bar-cafeteria, from where you can access, through narrow stairs to the basement, as the peculiarity of the dining room is that it is an old winery. It is decorated in a very rustic plane, with exposed brick walls or of the stone itself excavated in the rock, and vaulted ceilings the kitchen is Castilian, with traditional products, being so specialities the tables varied. We were people and asked for some share tickets (rebound mullets and sepia on the plate) and then two varied meat tables (also have fish). desserts were all homemade, and there was also a lot of assortment of food was very good, adequate amounts, and of good quality the products. the price, we go out to one per person, including desserts, wine and coffee, so I think it's a good value for money. the service was fast and attentive it is worth moving those km to go to the cave to eat. Moreover, it is a different place to be an underground winery.

La comida rica, pero si pides que no te sobre. Pedimos una tabla con variedad, no pudimos terminar de comerla y le dije a la camarera que me lo pusiera para llevar. Cuando nos fuimos le pedí la comida y nos dijo que la habían tirado a la basura.Una y no más.

Lugar magnífico para comer o cenar, típico castellano , con unas tablas de gran variedad y lechazo churro fantástico, lo recomiendo

Comida muy buena, la parte de abajo mucho más bonita que la de arriba.

Buen trato y todo exquisito, para mi gusto un poco caro.. Aunque se lo puede uno permitir...
