Had a wonderful evening here with 13 persons. We feasted a lot (!) and the bill came out (in my opinion) cheap considering our choice of beverages and food... A must go place !
I feel like this is the kind of restaurant where you can order anything off of the menu and it would be delicious. We passed by on account of the high rating on here and we were so satisfied on all accounts! The food was beautiful: tasty, good portions and clearly considered. Partner had the cod - light, with a tasty sauce - and I had the jarret de porc, which was truly amazing - slow-cooked and topped with a slightly spicy crust. Both were served with chips which were just great - I don't know how you can make chips great, but they were!! Desserts were also really lovely. The service was probably the best part - attentive but not intrusive, my favourite kind. The chef also came out to wish us bon appetit, which was a nice surprise! It was the end of the night so I doubt he does that often but kind nevertheless. Wines well recommended too. I would definitely recommend L'Entracte - it's a little different from the 'specialités Savoyardes' offered by every other restaurant but I can guarantee you will enjoy the food.
We arrived early on a Monday evening and the place was empty but still felt warm and inviting. Place soon filled up! We opted for the set menu at 28.50 euros. It was delicious - never have I tasted a butternut soup like it, the cod and vegetables interesting and cooked perfectly! The puddings defeated us :) we will definitely be back !
We visited this restaurant in January whilst on holiday. We phoned beforehand to book a table, and the lady who took our booking was very friendly and tried her best to speak English to us (we also tried to speak French to her). The service was brilliant, the waitress helped us to understand the french menu and gave recommendations. All staff were friendly, approachable and most spoke good English. The 'black angus' beef main course was absolutely fantastic! The quality of all the food we had was brilliant and everything was cooked to our taste perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed, the decoration inside the restaurant was clean and classic and they had a large display of wines on one wall of the restaurant, kept at appropriate temperatures.Overall, a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a special meal out in les deux alpes. The best part? - the price - < 200 euros for 4 starters, 4 mains and 2 desserts including wine!
