The Crow's Nest - Venice

Great location, wonderful staff and good food. We were able in one of their few outside tables and had a wonderful evening. Even in heat of the summer, we felt comfortable. Bonus if you are lucky enough to dine and then walk to see the sunset. Will definitely be back.

The food was good and well prepared. I have the Grouper, shrimp and scallops over rice with a cream sause. Me and my wife are gluten free and the waiter and restaurant accommodated our allergies with no issues. The wine was reasonably priced and the drinks were also. The view was excellent as it over looks the jetty inlet and the boats coming and going was relaxing. Waiter was pleasent and made the evening enjoyable. Overall a good experience! We will go back.

Crow’s Nest used to be one of our favorite restaurants. It’s location and ambiance is wonderful. Sadly, the meal was very disappointing. This experience started with a call from the restaurant claiming they no longer honor Open Table reservations and changing the time of our meal. Our meal included overcooked Asian Inspired Grouper, Coconut Crusted Crabcakes with an emulsified filling that hid any evidence of crab meat and bland Bouillabaisse that was unlike anything we expected. In addition, their pineapple margarita lacked any evidence of tequilla. A once great restaurant has sadly gone downhill.
