La Colonna - Venice

We had only a normal lunch, with beer, prosecco, pasta, scallops and salat. everything was delicious, not complaining. inside and outside seats. menu in few languages. friendly staff. reasonable prices.

Absolutely gorgeous fresh pasta! we are here twice, it was the best pasta we found! the google map location is wrong, but so they have to find it for themselves! but it is worth definitiw. we had lasagne, spaghetti ragu, scallop tagliatelle and spaghetti vongole. the man who served us, we suspect that he was the owner so nice and he gave us free little things every time. such a warming mood, even if the whole veneous is so calm. we are coming back next time 100

Excellent hidden gem. pasta (bigoli) with sardelle and wobble was to die and so was fish soup, alias seafood soup. service was excellent

Great evening meal in la collona. the outside is beautiful. the service is a little slow, but this does not ruin the atmosphere. loved the bigoli with ancholy and wobbly sauce.

Expect a beautifully simple, typical Italian dish when you visit la Colonna. I got lost many years ago and ever since visit this family run restaurant. The atmosphere and the attentive, authentic staff make you feel welcome even though you're a tourist in Venice. I will always come back for the amazing carbonara and all the other dishes prepared with love and passion.
