Not just the best restaurant we ate at in Venice but one of the better fine dining experiences I have had anywhere. Excellent food with beautiful creative presentations and great wine pairings.
Always returns to the crowns because the chef mauro cautiello always has new dishes to offer its guests. this year we had the opportunity to try the sloppy axe with barley kept in pumpkin and cabbage of aloe: a real delight. menu always interesting fish swallowing and with high quality raw materials. Maybe some extra ravioli wouldn't hurt. improved bread basket. very professional service. we will return *menu tried:1) marinated curd, pomegranate and sour cream. 2) sloppy lobster with pumpkin mantecato barley and haloro cabbage. 3) Fried cod peppers, guacamole and mayonnaise in lime. 4) Robiola ravioli, broccoli cream and cantabriche anchovies. 5) Garlic spaghetti, oil, chili and chilli with scampi. 6) Rombo in pistachio crust, spinach and cauliflower cream. 7) dish cephalus, potato cream, bruxelles cabbage and red vinegar kiosk radicchio. 8) Bavarian white chocolate, chestnut crumbs and mango sauce.
New trip to Venice and we could not return (for the fourth time) to the crowns. as predictable compliance with the covid rules is at first. at the table, always perfect and courteous service. we notice a level increase in the kitchen....can you point to the star? It would be okay. excellent dishes, from cichetti to marinated curd. besides spaghetti garlic, oil, chili and tartare of scampi. fabulous orange ice cream and a coconut love bouches, pre desserts and small pastry. What to say: feel at home in a restaurant. thanks again to the wealth and its staff, as well as the kitchen. price more than adequate to the quality of food and service.
