Trattoria Venezia

Ottimo tutto, dall'inizio alla fine...una nota particolare al tiramisù e limoncello fatti in casa Servizio impeccabile, gentili e simpaticissimi i due ragazzi (probabilmente i proprietari) che ci hanno servito. Peccato ripartire domani altrimenti saremmo tornati sicuramente! Super consigliato!

Da Torino siamo andati a passare 3 giorni a Venezia, città stupenda poi abbiamo trovato questo ristorante super.. cibo al top servizio al top, personale super super disponibili è gentili consiglio a tutti

So, this is for any people visiting Venice(Venezia) for the first time, watch and check your receipts thoroughly and ask questions before you sit. So we went to this restaurant and asked if there was a seating fee and were told “no”, then we’re given a table a promptly read a list of specials, so my wife chose a special and I chose a regular menu item. Hers was spaghetti and sauce(no meat at all) mine was something I asked about and wanted to have a decent meal because I had taken my medication and didn’t want an upset stomach. Now mind you hers was spaghetti and sauce and cost $16 Euros on the special and mine was a fettuccine and duck that cost $14 Euros and was in a bowl the size of a tea cup. The guy kept talking over me and I didn’t want to cause a scene, so I said thank you can we have the check? He promptly obliged and showed me the bill with all the up charges and it was $43.29 Euros and after looking at all the extras I was shocked, but again, no drama. But the final straw for me making this review is that when he brought the signature receipt, he was holding it for me and I signed it, as you normally do and we walked out. As soon as, we cleared the door the gates(shutters) closed quickly behind us and a few minutes later when I got my text notification from my bank it tells me I was charged $48 Euros and there’s no tip section on any of the receipts in any of the restaurants I visited. Just be very cautious!!!

We were staying close to the restaurant but would have chosen it anyway for its amazing situation, as it is tight on the grande Canal . It has a beautiful terrace decked out with flowers , and you can spot it a mile away while you pass it on the water busses or gondolas . The food is lovely , local caught fish , delicious pastas and wonderful desserts . The staff are really friendly . I thoroughly recommend it !

Enjoyed the food, not too expensive. atmosphere was nice and staff pleasant. it was good but just good
