We admired this restaurant partnership of two women who joined forces to accommodate their “mom kid” schedules. And, it really came in handy when my coat zipper got stuck and one of the owners jumped to get me unstuck and zipped up….just a mom’s second nature! It was very sweet and hilarious at the same time.
We went here on the last night of our trip and it was maybe our best dinner experience during out stay in Italy. Service was excellent and service was even better. Felt like an authentic Italian experience, rather than an overpriced tourist stop. Would definitely recommend and happily visit again.

We stumbled across this place, looking for an outside drink. The host, Ava, was so charming that we stopped inside for food. We were not disappointed! Waiting inside was a warm, friendly, atmosphere, with delicious food. We polished off a bottle or two of red wine, ate our food and joked with our charismatic host. We loved it so much, that we returned for my partner's 40th birthday two nights later! This time, we were looked after by our friend Ava and another absolute gem, Dori. They were both so sweet to us, being especially attentive to the birthday girl! The bread they serve is so soft, warm and delicious that we needed two refills! The food on offer is fairly typical of other places in Venice, and is beautiful. I ordered the meat and cheese platter both times as I can never get enough, and eating it took me to my happy place. I had three types of meat and two cheeses, one a soft blue and the other a hard type. Delicious. I recommend the sardines which are tasty. My partner swears they are the best she has ever had, which is big praise coming from a Greek! The wine is fairly priced. We went for the Classic Chianti which was around 30 euro a bottle, and they sell smaller versions as well. This wine is yummy, silky smooth and somewhat magical as it left us with no hangover. I love Italian wine! All in all, I love this little gem and will certainly be back whenever I return to Venice. Thank you to Ava, Dori, and Baby Tina for making our visit to Venice so special
Fabulous service in a small restaurant on the side of the Rio Novo Canal. My seafood linguine was delicious, with an excellent Pinot-Grgio recommended by the waiter. Ready with homemade tiramisu Limoncello Perfecto!
