Rustichelli Mangione - VENEZIA

I was served by a man who made it obvious I was pissing him off for no apparent reason. Very unfriendly staff. The pizza was way too salty and the dessert was...well... made in a lab of some sort. Besides, I couldn't choose water in the menu so I basically had to serve my 6 year old a Coke, which I'd rather not....talk about healthy...well all in all a very displeasing experience. To be avoided if you ask me.

Delicious food for a quick meal. A lot of choice, sweet and salted. Also good choice of drinks and yogurts and most important coffee.

Popped in here while waiting to head to departures as we'd time to kill. I grabbed a slice of the pizza which was warmed up but OK. Washed down with a bottle of Peroni Gran Riserva Rossa it hit the spot. Quick enough service and somewhere to perch to sit and eat and drink, does the job, nothing special but OK for an airport.

We were starving after arriving at the airport and this spot had an excellent selection but pretty poor service and average panini (the foccacia looked like a festival of gluten).

My family and I were passing through in between trains from Venice to Naples and we got pizza and coffee. Laura P. took my order and I asked for a slice and two coffees. She snatched my 100 euro bill from my hand and slammed my change down on the counter way out of my reach where I had to reach for it almost behind the register. She got the order wrong and when I inquired about it, she glared at me and then corrected it as if I was inconveniencing her. She seemed more concerned about her appearance than serving the customer. I understand people have bad days but this seems not to just be a bad day. Maybe she treats all foreigners this way or worse, all customers. I’ll never come back here again and make sure anyone I know traveling to Rome to never visit here.
