To be quite synthetic in this assessment: the manager owner? was extremely rude from the first moment. I didn 't want to answer about the tramezzino options and, worse, shouted from the back of the counter to the attendant the price they should give me for the spritz €9.00 . Since when is it necessary to review the price with the cashier? It was clearly an abusive price made especially for certain tourists. I protested and, suddenly, the price of the spritz was no longer 9 euros per spritz but for two spritz. I asked in Italian about the supposed policy of charging tourists extra and it was at that moment that the woman became even angrier, completely losing her composure. Avoid this place if you are not from Venice as they will charge abusive prices if you do not protest and assert your consumer rights. Escape from this bar!

Tucked in a busy side street near the Rialto bridge lies this hidden gem! Cheap and delicious sandwiches are a great snack or quick lunch option while exploring Venice. Limited seating is available inside and a bathroom for paying customers.

The owner is awful. Not saying hello and she doesn’t take care of customers. Respecting customers are the less they can do. Not a good place at all. There are many cafés in Venice where people are kind and friendly so don’t spend a cent there

A great choice of tramezzini (sandwiches made with yummy ingredients carefully wrapped in a flat, soft, white inside part of bread). Creamed codfish was one of my favourite, but also ham&cheese, artichokes and mayo, tuna were very good. For less than 2 euro each, and adding a little more for a glass of wine, you can have a good (fast) lunch at a very reasonable price while visiting Venice, leaving the fancy, comfortably sitting, service at the table kind of experience for dinner. Definitely worth a stop!
