For an unpredictable lunch or a substantial aperitif, if you visit the reggia, this is the place that it does for you; environment (inside) cute but also has tables on the pedestrian street, choice of cutters with meats and cheeses of different sizes and prices with good products. As an wine shop I would have expected a greater choice of wines, but our favorite Belgian was nothing wrong and embroidery are honest.
It is near the entrance to the Palace, informal and inviting and with a simple formula of claimed artisan products. The waiter is pleasant and helpful. You can expect an unpretentious and simple meal on a cold cuts menu of meats on a plate or in rustic bread, not much else and some salads standing ready at the counter in what look like cheap glass mixing bowls. My Mixed salad at 7 euros consisted only of tomatoes, leaves and bits of crusty bread ! served with bread and bread sticks. No cheese or tuna as claimed on the menu. My wife ordered a Caesar salad claiming to contain chicken but again ingredients were missed out no doubt to save cost and make profit and the classic ingredients of Caesar salad were missing. It was 2pm so we suspect they were running low on ingredients and so we were taken for tourists worth the deception on the good chance we would not make a fuss. My wife persuaded me not to complain. One good thing was a local beer called Slurp . Slurp somewhere else is our advice.
After the visit to the palace we had little time to have lunch and entered this small wine shop. we took a medium size and two glasses, good some cheeses, sliced not memorable. Young staff and a little cold welcome.
This is one of my favourite wine bar enoteca where is served the best italian famous wine, its not really cheap but is very nice inside, wonderfull staff, and they have tipical italian food affettato and a lot of variety of cheese to serve whit a great wine glass
