Hotel Khanna - Velur

Hotel Khanna is one of the oldest hotel in vellore. After Renovation the look of the hotel is totally changed . we went to lunch in 1st floor. the quality and quantity of the food is good. Hospitality of the Hotel is totally changed compared to earlier. Staffs are friendly. Cost of the food is Reasonable.

Hotel Khanna is the best choice in Vellore for delicious veg food. Staff were very friendly and suggests us best choice of food

The room was neat & clean, spacious with a minimalistic interior design. Housekeeping was bit lethargic: had to remind about fresh towels and room cleaning. The staff was courteous. Wifi connection was very slow and had to call up the desk multiple times to get a working password.The restaurant served only vegetarian food. However, the food was good and the choices were plenty. There's another good vegetarian restaurant just across the road. Non-vegetarians would miss the lack of places serving non-veg food in the locality.

Booked the room for a day, the hotel is couple of kms from the bus terminus but easily reachable as its on main road itself. The rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms dont have buckets by default, on request we got it immediately. The basement veg restaurant serves good food, thou there was a food festival going on in the roof top restaurant, it only had non-veg buffett option.. the main reason for me to choose Khanna over Poppys was the rooftop restaurant, ,but since it served only non-veg buffett, I couldnt utilise the facility..in that way I was little disappointed. But otherwise the hotel was pretty clean and good for a couple of days stay...

Well the food is strictly average , the kebabs are unedible , the fish I was served was stinky , prawns were as dry as bone and so was the chicken , do yourself a favour and dont ever go here unless u love wasting money , and this review is after three visits.
