Malga Vazzo - Velo veronese

Lovely place to escape the heat of summer in the gorgeous Lessinia. There is a butcher shop that sells meats and cheeses and some other products, with grills outside that groups can reserve. We ate at the restaurant above the butcher shop good food, slow service but it is expected at this kind of place. Overall, a lovely location with quality food recommended especially for families and kids. Try the gnocchi di malga and the ice cream. The only downside is that it is quite expensive, so be prepared.

Went here on a recommendation from a fellower Londoner. We were told they make their own ice cream, serve thier own meat and had a nice view. They do make their own icecream which was nice. Not a large choice but good quality. The view is nice too. When we arrived in the restaurant we were not given a menu, you are told what they make on the day, which is ok, but you don't have any idea of the prices. We ordered pasta with ragu and steaks. The pasta was soft and over cooked and one of the steaks that was supposed to be medium to well done arrived as medium to rare and full of fat. When we told the waitress about it she said sorry and that was the end of it. My stake came with potatoes but they arrived more than 10 mins after the steak which was served with nothing, no apology was mentioned. No one asked us during the meal if the food was ok or anything. Nice place to visit but there much better places to visit with better cooked food and much better service. And of course great views.

Personale cortese e disponibile, il posto è una vera meraviglia, dentro e fuori, immerso nelle verdi colline. cibo eccellente, tutta la sua produzione da antipasto a secondi. nota di merito al vino rosso della casa veramente piacevole. consigliato a tutti e sicuramente per tornare.
