Cafe Stratilat - Veliko Tarnovo

Located behind the statue of Stefan Stambolo, up a set of stairs on the street bearing the same name, this charming café is the perfect spot for breakfast in the area. Everything we ordered was delicious, although we did end up with more food than we expected because we didn't specify what we wanted, whether it be cakes or pastries. Our order of crepes took a bit longer than expected on the first day, but when they finally arrived, they were worth the wait - especially the chocolate and cream crepes. Our total bill came to 17 euros for 2 cappuccinos, 2 hot chocolates, 2 fruit tarts, a cheesecake, and an espresso.
