Mama's Southern Style Bbq Ii - Vauxhall

I was so disappointed... I look forward to a really big bbq as they came very recommended and there was a lot when I picked up. It was the worst bbq ribs I ever had, the bbq chicken right behind the ribs.... I fried chicken smell amazing, beautiful crispy crust, but it was not seasoned and tasteless. I have to give credit, the Mac and the cheese were really good. I ordered Fritten, but it wasn't there when I opened my container, they put candidate Yams. I will try again because I think it was so bad

Institutions You have a catering order with Chris for a repast today in Vaux Hall about a week ago. I came from Maryland to NJ and didn't have room to get food and fall into the hall. Chris was more than willing to drop the food for us because it was very close. Today I called briefly for a large portion of rice because more people appeared than expected. Even without the necessary 2 days, Chris said I have you!! Food was punctual and everything was made professional and the food was AMAZING!! Everything was perfectly seasoned. spread beans, chicken, baked Mac, Spanish rice and potato salad. I can't say enough good things. Kudos, as I recommend to family and friends in the area.

The food is 5 stars in taste. The turkey dogs are amazing. I had a side of Mac and Cheese and ordered Yams. My husband had catfish and shrimp with potato salad, cornbread and Mac and cheese (not shown). I had two different experiences in this restaurant. I ordered food from here on Wednesday at 2:45. It was not busy and seemed an off peak time and day. The young ladies in the restaurant were very helpful and gave me a good advice when ordering. For example, it is always best to order directly from a restaurant if possible if the order is picked up instead of DoorDash because the prices are inflated on DoorDash. Many of you probably know that. Cornbread does not come with DoorDash orders. In the past, I ordered a weekend (Saturday). It was very busy and it took almost an hour to get my food. Again, the food was delicious. I think during peak days and hours it is best to allow enough time to order and maintain food to avoid getting angry. I will definitely apply this business again.

I had the pleasure of serving her for my mother 70. Birthday bash 8/28/22. When I say u, I was very happy with everything. From order last minute to food. Food was amazing, customer service was more than 5 stars. I really want to give a special thanks to Aisha. I really hope I spell it right. She was very patient with me because I was stressed throughout this whole thing. She assured me she could do it and she did. So if someone looking for soul food similar to Mom?s or Nana?s do it, check it out?????????

The other day for dinner I got Mama?s Southern Style BBQ II. I ordered their Oxtail platter w/ Double Collard Greens a side of Baked Mac. I really did not want to like the Oxtails, but they were actually really really good. The Oxtails were extremely tender, had excellent flavor, and the gravy they were in was more on the Smothered Chicken gravy side. Their Collard Greens are phenomenal. Seasoned great and the amount they give you is awesome as well too. The baked Mac on the other hand, they def changed up their recipe over the years and for better, but the last few times I got them they were exceptional! Absolutely love Mama?s. It?s some exceptional SoCo food. If anyone is in the Vauxhall area, would highly recommend Mama?s if you?re looking for some excellent Southern Comfort food! Also try their Fried Chicken Platter. You really can not go wrong with Mama?s.
