I asked if it was in. the water, and as I did not like it, it was switched for pure water. I gave to home kalka in my water, but that didn't taste right. we had vegetarians with us and they had suppe and tortillas. there is no child menu. another had queensadillas and if he asked to update it to a meal (after the menu wire soup or salat) with suppe was said there is no suppe and it must be salat. also that there was a new menu in september. well, that is august and it should have been honored. I had chicken-fajitas with buzzing. I was told that drilling would be better suited than drilling with fajitas, I would like to fried beef. the chickens came with many tortillas and was delightful. for the price it should have been more huh. cheese, guacamole and sour cream were served on the side in small dishes. not enough cheese, and I'm not a cheese fan at all (as a little melted on eating), but there wasn't enough. acid cream, not much again. there is a salsa table where they can help themselves. I tried a little salsa that someone else put on the table. When we asked about a dessert menu, we were told that there was no sense to bring it because there was only one nice gesture to give us a dessert menu to decide our time. Of course, if they have one. I'm glad I looked at her online menu. I would have decided to fluff but it is made with cheese. they did not, as she would have said, say flan de queso, but not just flan. I'm not a cheese lover and can't stand a cheesecake or cold cheese. if I had not looked online, I would have been kidnapped. the other choices were milk cake or churros. none of us chose one dessert. the kiddie with us wanted ice cream, but they didn't even have that. we went over the plaza and the kids had a cake pop while we had coffee. hours after eating I started to get cramps and get me for a few minutes with spasmodic avdomen pain hung and then took for an hour cursed on the toilet, up and down. Finally, as I worked the next day, decided to take immodium tablets. I felt sick in total about hours, so the following day was not a good feeling at work. something was not properly stored or cooked, there is no doubt about it. we had already decided that it wasn't necessary to get out of place before I got sick. it's safe now. very expensive for the portions
Stopped, went from peterborough to burlington. Never been here. what an AWESOME place! the waitress was so pleasant and eating was excellent! husband, daughter and I just loved it! thank you for coming back.
Eating was just delicious. we didn't know what to expect because it's so inconvenient and fucked away. the service and eating were amazing. if they want Tex-Mex, they stay away as this is authentic.
La Taquizza Restaurant Tequila Bar is a Mexican restaurant and was one of a few that still had available seating on a busy and cold Saturday night in this area. We were welcomed in and given a seat near their kitchen where one of...us was able to see through the glass panes and glimpse the kitchen staff assembling tacos and quesadillas and other items. They had a TV on the wall showing the game and there were lots of people dining in. Their menu was extensive and boasted a lot of authentic Mexican dishes! The Enchiladas de Mole Poblano caught my eye. I hadn’t had mole before like this and was curious to try it. While we were deciding what to order, the really friendly and warm male server (or was he the owner indulged our drink orders and asked if we wanted anything to start, like guac and chips. We accepted the appetizer suggestion. The Totopos Con Guacamole was fresh home made guacamole served with cantina style tortilla chips. It was a really big platter of tortilla chips served on a foil wrapper. My first impression was that I wished the tortilla chips were warm but that the guacamole was really tasty. However, as I continued eating, I really enjoyed this appetizer. I enjoyed the very crispy tortilla chips especially and how it was such a generous platter of chips. As I returned from the restroom back to our table, the same staff member asked me if I had had mole before. I said “no.” He asked me that because mole can be an acquired taste since it’s made with a pinza de chocolate and not everyone enjoys it. (Mole is made with over different ingredients, including a variety of chiles, nuts, and a pizca de chocolate He asked if I wanted a sample of it first before the dish was served and I was happy to do that. I really appreciated that actually. A few minutes later, he brought out a container with mole in it and some tortilla chips for sampling. The mole was musky and a bit spicy, but I didn’t detect much sweetness from any chocolate actually. It was definitely a different sauce than what I’ve tried before but it wasn’t unpalatable and I gave him the okay to go ahead with the dish. When the Enchiladas de Mole Poblano arrived, it was a large square plate with three enchiladas on it with a scoop of rice and a scoop of black beans at the opposite corners of the plate. The mole was spread over the entire plate. Unfortunately, I had asked for the vegetarian version and the chicken breast version was given to me. I informed the staff member who apologized profusely and then a few minutes later produced the correct vegetarian version to me. I found that the mole sauce in the dish was actually more concentrated than the sample that was given to me (probably because it was cooked a bit more). It was slightly heaty and still the sweetness of any chocolate evaded my taste buds. I enjoyed the very comforting meal. Within the enchiladas was actually black beans. I had expected mushrooms or lettuce folded within it. I enjoyed the refried beans at the corners of the dish and also the rice. K actually enjoyed the rice the most out of the whole dish. I did too. The rice was a good texture and well seasoned. (I noticed the portions of the rice and black beans were smaller in the corrected dish and there was one fewer onion ring. I liked the spiciness of the raw onion rings K ordered the Huaraches dish, a corn “sandal” shaped base that is topped with refried beans and a topping of your choice. It was further garnished with cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. Accordingly, this dish is named for the flat soles of rural sandals that they resemble. This dish intrigued me too since I had never seen it before. This was the Huarache de Chorizo which was the huarache topped with the restaurant’s home made Mexican sausage. The portion was a bit smaller than I anticipated, but still enough for one person. I wasn’t a big fan of the corn base since it tasted in between the texture of mushy and hard. The chorizo was mashed up and blended in with the lettuce and cheese. There was a DIY sauce station too where you could fill up three plastic containers with the sauce of your choice to go with your meal. One of the highlights at La Taquizza Restaurant Tequila Bar was the warm and friendly staff member who made sure we were satisfied during our entire visit. The food was really good as well.
