Il Fornaio - Vaughan

I enjoy visiting this restaurant whenever I'm in the GTA. The veal and chicken parmigiana are delicious and reasonably priced. I appreciate being able to customize my meal and add on extra if I'm feeling particularly hungry.

This is the best food I have had in a long time. Reminds me of a delicious home cooked meal. Great cappuccinos, atmosphere and prices. The eggplant parmesan is to die for! Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

If I could give this 0 stars or negative stars, then I would.I bought a slice of cheese pizza last week that was really dark and looked like it was burnt. Then, when I picked it up to eat it, it had DISGUSTING, RANCID, THICK, GOOPY, STICKY OIL all over it. It had clearly been sitting in that oil for AGES. I threw that half away, and when I picked up the other half, same thing! My hands were so sticky I couldn't touch anything because my hands stuck to anything I touched. Even after I washed my hands with soap, the smell wouldn't come off and it took several tried before all the stickiness washed away. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.

I would give this restaurant 0 stars or even a negative rating if possible. Last week, I purchased a slice of cheese pizza that was extremely dark and appeared to be burnt.

While driving down Highway 7 towards AMC, I stumbled upon this place and a good friend of mine had to use the restroom.
