Azian Cuisine - Vaughan

Whenever I'm in Oshawa and meeting a friend for lunch, Azian is always my go-to spot for consistently delicious food at a great price.

I used to enjoy this place, but I'm not sure what has happened lately. I just picked up the sesame chicken and chow mein and brought it home.

We used to visit this restaurant when they had a location in Maple.

What looks like a decent sit down restaurant is not at all that. 1. You have to place your order at the counter, no server to your table. 2. When I asked for water, I was directed to a table with stacked cups and pitchers of ice water to pour myself. 3. Napkins and forks were tossed onto the table, when I asked for chopsticks I was directed to another table to grab my own. I would rate the quality of the food as 3/5, food was made suspiciously quickly so I'm assuming it was not fresh, just heated. Facilities were clean. For two beef lunch bentos with green teas, $22.00 after tax. Ridiculous considering the complete and utter lack of service. Icing on the cake - one of the staff members had their phone ringtone going off constantly, totally inappropriate. I will never go back and I will never recommend this place.

My family and I have eaten here the last few years. Always fresh, and always consistent, whether we go delivery, or eat there. My personal favourites are the spicy tuna salad roll, and the futomaki. Outside of Vancouver, this place has one of the freshest sashimi I have had.
