An excellent bread, however…. At $7 and $6 a bread, is there a way to have fresh bread?!?!
This place is sooo good.I went in because I saw they had Zaatar.I've had great Zaatar before but this place is the best in the galaxy. So, I also got olives and strangely enough they were the best black sundried olives i ever tasted. There was also these basil seed pomegranate drinks that I barely got a sip of since my gf finished it while I was distracted by the Zaatar and olives. Also there were so many other good things that were all reasonable priced. All imported and for under $6 for ALL of them (2 kinds of chips, grape walnut treat, cherry jello, and some chocolate things I didn't try them yet but I'm sure they are yummy. It's good to phone in advance if you want to go in and out. If you want to shop and browse you can easily spend the 10 minutes looking at the selection. They pack in a lot of variety in this little shop.I also had a Zaatar with cheese on the way home while it was still fresh and warm from the box :
We had a delicious and healthy lunch with a short stop right off the highway (sort of behind Dairy Queen). I had a falafel wrap with all the fixings and fabulously crisp potatoes with garlic sauce as my chosen side, and my husband had the taouk (grilled chicken) wrap with tabouleh as his side. Both sandwiches had all the delicious fixings we selected. We shared a mango drink and bought a few things from the small grocery selection. We met the owners who were wonderful and generous and we left plenty full. Highly recommended for locals and those just traveling through!
Execllent service, clean and hospitable. Delicious food, feels like you are eating at a friend's place. Will definitely come by again and again. Happy to have discovered this gem.
