Ferro Fuoco is a pizzeria located in Vasto (CH) in Via Giacomo Leopardi n°7. Immersed in the historic center, it can be easily reached by wandering through the beautiful streets of the city. Free car parking is recommended in the area of the municipal villa; for a fee there is availability within the municipality (free after 8pm). The restaurant is just a few meters from the Caldoresco Castle, Piazza Rossetti and Palazzo d'Avalos. Ferro Fuoco offers its customers a traditional pizza with highly hydrated dough (electric oven). There are many pizzas on the menu, each one is topped with quality ingredients. The dough is good, slightly heavy at the beginning but then easily digestible. The menu also includes: appetizers, focaccias, wraps, salads, mixed fried foods and desserts. A drinks menu is available (beers and wines included). The specialty undoubtedly remains pizza! I recommend also adopting lactose-free mozzarella given the large number of intolerant people in circulation. Prices are slightly above average. Service that can be improved: waiters present only at the initial ordering stage, called every single time upon request. Interacting with the customer is not a crime! Reservations are advisable, especially on weekends. The interiors are well-kept and tidy; modern, simple and clean furnishings. Mediocre toilet facilities (rusty sink), definitely improvable! P.S Although the quality of the pizza deserves a full 4, I am forced to review this business with an extremely negative rating as we only realized the next day that we had suffered a scam on our account. Prices of one and a half liter beers deliberately increased, taking advantage of the general chaos during the closing phase and of the numerous people waiting to pay the bill (I attach photos and receipts). Bitter discovery that has no justification given that we learned from other local people that this surcharge of a few euros is often applied in various forms. A shame really! Many people don't even realize this scam as it involves a few euros stolen from less than suspicious menu items, which can only be verified after a careful check of the accounts. I can only warn future customers, we will definitely not be returning. Making mistakes in the service or cooking of the pizza can happen, absolutely NO being clever!
