Island Queen - Vashon

Hmmm....visited here based on all the positive reviews on a recent trip to Vashon. I was highly disappointed.Ordered the cowboy burger...the hamburger patty tasted like it had been microwaved, and was pretty rubbery. So was the bacon....not crispy at all.On the positive, the bun was good and the lettuce tasted fresh. Also, the chai milkshake was unique and pretty good.But my stomach did not feel right after the burger (or at least the part of it that I forced myself to get through).Prices are also kind of high....the burger alone was above $10. No fries or drink included....Finally, it is not 'fast food '.....the order definitely took a while to come out.

The restaurant was a wonderful experience for our kids. It’s very family-friendly, with stools at the counter and in the restroom. There were also toys and drawing materials for the little ones. The food met my expectations—high-quality fast food, albeit on the pricier side.

Best burgers on Vashon. Enjoy a cold beer and a soft serve for desert. The island is lucky to have a tasty family place thats not just another bar or foo foo eatery.

Yummy ice cream! Can't wait to try their food one day! Seems very reasonably priced. This place was busy all the day we went by it.
