Ori - Vasco

We have been regular customers of Ori since it opened, mainly because there are not many good Oriental restaurants in Vasco. We had been hoping for a variety in the menu, and after it was revamped with new interiors and dishes, our feedback was finally addressed. The updated menu now offers a good selection of Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, and Japanese cuisine. We have tried dishes such as Chicken satay, Thai fish cakes, Steamed dimsums, Thai chicken curry, Chicken in chilli Beijing sauce, and noodles, all of which taste and look authentically Asian. However, the menu still seems limited for frequent visitors, and the kimchi, which is usually a highlight in Asian meals, lacks flavor compared to other Asian restaurants. Overall, this restaurant may not be the best choice for those who plan on visiting frequently.

We were not expecting to see such a food place in Vasco and that too with well made Chinese food offerings. We had ordered Chilly chicken Manchurian style and Szechwan fried rice with prawns. The decor was contemporary , the food was tasty and would give Goenchin - the "Panjim based No 1 for Chinese food in Goa" a run for its money! The service was OK .Do visit this place once - there isn't much choice in Vasco anyways !

A decent Pan Asian food place. Decent environment. Not fast food. The steward walked us through the menu and tastes. Offered Jasmine tea which was complimentary.

Nice space, good food, something different and away from Indian food. Desert menu is awesome. Do try desert of the day!

I like this place. Very good restaurant. Nice design, tasty food, good service and affordable prices. The ORI restaurant has pleasantly surprised me.
