The Juice Shack - Varkala

The most friendly owners on the cliff, good eating, healthy cheaper than the rest. caters for vegan, vegetarian and no vegan. we ate here every day during almost 2 weeks stay in varkala. we have shortened our journey to the backwater so we can return. they gave us eco bamboo straws as farewell gifts, so every time I use, I love to remember them.

Eating here is amazing, fresh, tasty, large portions and friendly service. the owner, mercy, is willing to work with them to veganaise meals and understands nutritional restrictions. I was happy to have my meal here. the only bottom is that it is back from the main cliff area, which means that they do not really get the ambiente and vibe, but the prices reflect this! the half of the price from elsewhere!

The juice shack is now close to the helipad still vegan options and is available in all other social travel sites. we organize special vegetarian buffets on every Saturday also gluten-free. more about this we have sortiment kerala cuisine that are very vegan friendly.

We were there for the first time. the shakes are ok to eat what we ordered 1x red outdated dive and 1x auberginen masala as well as the brot were without taste it was missing from all

This place has a lot of potential to be great for vegans as they have an array of plant based milks which can then be used to veganise granola, porridge and smoothies etc. The staffs English isn’t too great so there was some confusion with our order such as asking for no honey and making sure the milk being used was vegan! Worth a visit although you can get fully vegan smoothies and breakfast items from White Rabbit just nearby and support a veggie place instead.
